Be Faithful with the Small Things

““One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own?”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭16‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Sometimes the simplest things can produce the greatest gratitude, if we let them.

Allow the everyday aspects of life to produce in you a heart that is joyful & thankful to the God who is the Giver of every good thing.

We can rejoice in the small things because we know that our God is using them to increase our ability to see His hand at work.

Do not take simple moments for granted. They create a vast collection of memories that are signposts of the goodness of God.

Being the salt & light of the world does not always have to be big, monumental feats. Living like Christ did is simply dying to yourself & seeking to serve in the mundane moments of life. Life is not just about the highs and lows, but also the plateaus. Jesus didn't die so that you only serve Him on the mountain tops. He died so that you can worship Him in every season. He is worthy of our whole lives.

When you see a need, fill it.

When you see someone in need of prayer, pray with them.

Take every opportunity to smile. Be quick to encourage those around you. Commune with God often. Worship Him no matter your circumstance. Repent of wrongdoing.

Look up from your phone and look up into the world around you.

Use the blessings, gifts, talents, & community the Lord has given you to shine the light of Jesus to the world.

Choose joy.

Be faithful with the small things.
